This audiobook is a bit of fluff, perfect for escaping from reality. The story is familiar: A soon-to-be divorced woman and her children rent a friend's house on Nantucket Island, only to discover that a widowed man and his young son have rented the same house for the same two months. They must compromise and make the situation work. Janet Metzger's narration fits the plot nicely with its clear enunciation and even, relaxed pace. This is escapist listening all around--any conflicts are easily solved, and Metzger doesn't overplay emotions as she breezily tells of delicious meals and summer days at the beach.
