Enter the world of Jimmy Jibbett, who does not enjoy baseball to the degree his father and sister do and who delights in the creation of super-hero cartoons. The issue of establishing one's position with family and friends comes to a satisfying conclusion. The listening experience of THE MAN IN THE CEILING is strikingly different from the reading experience. The book is laced with the cartoon strips of the young artist. In contrast, the recording is laced with the fabulous vocalizations and sound effects of L.J. Ganser. He is a master at creating dynamic voices for each of Jimmy's cartoon characters--from Mini-man to Tricky Rabbit and the Man in the Ceiling--and also at crafting action for the aural experience.
