Madeleine Leslay narrates this modern retelling of Susan Coolidge's 1872 classic WHAT KATY DID. Leslay inhabits feisty Katy, who's looked up to by “the Littlies" (her five siblings). Each child is presented with distinction—from food-loving Dorry to best friend-sister Clover. Other Leslay standouts are strict stepmother Izzie, who often argues with Katy, and gentle Helen, a patient of Dr. Carr's who also uses a wheelchair and inspires the girl.
