Listeners will enjoy Todd McLaren's slow-paced narration of the latest in the Long, Tall Texan series. Stanton Rourke and Clarisse Carrington have complicated pasts. Clarisse lost her entire family to tragedy, and now her own life is in danger. McLaren's pacing brings out the sensual romantic passages between the pair. He does an excellent job voicing the hero's South African accent, and listeners will wrap themselves in his sexy masculinity. McLaren also brings to life the characters of Jacobsville.
