MR. PUTTER & TABBY FLY THE PLANE

by | Read by John McDonough

Children Ages 4-6 • 15 min. • Unabridged • © 1997

Another in the children's series about Mr. Putter, the gentle old bachelor, and his cat, this story tells of Mr. Putter's thwarted dreams to be a pilot. Instead, he flies model airplanes. Through his flights in the park, he meets a special little boy and ends up giving him his airplane. McDonough sounds just like Mr. Putter would, kind and warm, like a portly grandfather. He reads slowly, as if waking up from dreaming of flying airplanes. Any listener will enjoy this compassionate production. A.G.H. (c) AudioFile 2002, Portland, Maine [Published: AUG/SEP 02]
