For those who are interested in the land down under, this audiobook presents an overview of Australian culture and history. Narrator Peter Noble's narration is easy to understand, though some aspects of the work do not transition well from the written page to the audio format--for example, when Noble seems to be doing rote recitations of facts and figures. During these lists, the listener may become lost or disengaged because of the lack of variation. Additionally, while Noble's narration is, on the whole, clear and effective, it might have been more fitting to have used an actual Australian as the narrator of a book on Australian culture and customs.
