The Supermajority could possibly shift for the first time in two election cycles, so it's imperative for each micro-democracy to gain as much ground as it can. The complexity of the plot defies easy summary, and the frequent shifts in point of view can be daunting, but Christine Marshall focuses on the drama of each storyline and the emotional connections between the characters.
