While this package contains fascinating information on past-life regression and our past lives' connection to present-life troubles, famed psychic Sylvia Browne sounds a lot like a truck-stop waitress who smokes three packs a day. Once you get past her vocal quality--not so ethereal--and her regional accent ("cee«-ment"), Browne offers some eye-opening factoids and anecdotes. Using hypnosis and the help of her spirit guide, Browne leads clients to past lives laden with trauma or pain, and attempts to resolve their lingering effects. Some truly inspiring stories come forth. Especially encouraging is the lack of people insisting on an illustrious past. Browne's sincerity and desire to enlighten are apparent.
