The author narrates this real-life account of the "UFO Highway" in the American West. Computer programmer and sheriff's deputy Chuck Zukowski has spent decades pursuing answers to questions about life beyond Earth, exploring a chunk of the country where claims of alien sightings and encounters seem to be disproportionate to those in the rest of the country. What he finds may not be definitive proof of extraterrestrial visitations, but it definitely raises questions about who may be out there. Both in his prose and his narration, Mezrich delivers this material straight, pulling no punches and giving no hints of disbelief. However, his narration doesn't necessarily excite the listener. While his tone is steady and his cadence appropriate, his emotion and emphasis don't draw the listener in. Though Mezrich doesn't narrate with skill, he's written a compelling account.
