Narrator Eric G. Dove elevates this romance involving a serial killer in a small town. In Graveyard Falls, Tennessee, a tornado cuts through a valley, unearthing a mass grave of over a dozen teenage girls. FBI agent Beth Fields--who may or may not have escaped the same killer years ago--and town sheriff Ian Kimball--whose father may or may not have kidnapped young Beth--inexplicably head up the investigation. If that obvious conflict of interest can be ignored, this is an able whodunit with a touch of romance. Dove's pacing and excellent characterizations keep the audiobook moving along.
