Narrator Renee Raudman hits another one out of the park in this small-town romance with a big heart. Avery has a new lease on life, thanks to a kidney transplant, and is eager to experience all that life has to offer. Quitting her bank job and taking a job at an adventure lodge is the first step. Tyson, a mountain rescue worker with a chip on his shoulder, is not happy to find himself dragged back into his family's adventure-lodge business when his father's health declines, but meeting Avery takes some of the sting out of it. Raudman believably portrays cynical Tyson and idealistic Avery, along with a terrific cast of secondary characters, in this engaging audiobook.
