Set at a camp for at-risk teens, this audio story of romance, friendship, and finding yourself provides a perfect blend of humor and drama. Caitlin Kelly narrates from the viewpoint of Zander Osborne, a 16-year-old girl who is attending Camp Padua for the first time. Kelly also provides unique voices for the dialogue of everyone in Zander's world. Characters include her crush, Grover Cleveland (not the president), who has a deep, contemplative voice; her roommate, Cassie, who has a rough voice that delivers insults with ease; and even their perky camp counselor. Kelly reads Zander's story in an even tone that grows in intensity and urgency as Zander breaks out of her shell and engages with the world around her for the first time in years.
