In this mystery riff on PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, dastardly George Wickham has been murdered, and the handsome Mr. Darcy is the prime suspect. The plot thickens when Darcy refuses to reveal his alibi since it would compromise the lovely Miss Elizabeth Bennet. This story is enchanting, and Nancy Peterson's narration is a rare gift. Her upper-crust English accents are delicious. She puts just the right sneer into evil George Wickham's voice and the perfect tone of backbone and loveliness in Elizabeth's voice as she investigates the crime and reluctantly finds herself becoming more and more attracted to Mr. Darcy.
