The title BOMBSHELL refers to 5-year-old Nicole, who is Hollywood playboy Brad Sinclair's long-lost daughter--and brand-new responsibility. Narrator Andi Arndt brings the adults, including new nanny Cara Du Montto, to their knees with Nicole's implacable adorableness. Cara promises herself she'll never end up like her friend Blakely, sprawled on the pages of tabloids for dating a celebrity dad, but she finds her willpower tempted at every turn by vulnerable, sex god Brad. Narrator Christian Fox captures Brad's charming, off-the-cuff manner, although his pace is too fast and his internal monologues sound dashed off at times. Arndt dramatizes Cara's affection for Nicole and her dad with a sweet tone and a slightly deep pitch. Tons of humor from both narrators add to a fun listen.
