Narrator Dion Graham gives each sentence an emotional charge, so fitting for the drama and challenges the players and coaches face in this tough corner of the country. The author's close vantage of the city and its people yields an exceptional look at what is happening on and off the field. Graham is great with his voices for the coaches, who constantly try to motivate and teach the boys on the team.
