KAT AND MEG CONQUER THE WORLD

Dual voices tell the story of two Canadian teens overcoming their difficulties and finding friendship through their love of a video game and their personality differences. Kat, portrayed by Jorjeana Marie, suffers from panic attacks and social anxiety. Meg, portrayed by Sisi Aisha Johnson, has ADHD. Each girl is uniquely voiced by her narrator. However, when speaking other characters' lines in the book, the voices often do not match the co-narrator's, causing a slightly confusing listening experience. Beyond this issue, Marie and Johnson give an excellent performance, drawing the listener into Kat and Meg's world. The girls are full of excitement over the Legends of the Stone video game and anxious about their personality issues--and everything else that comes with navigating the teenage years.
