ALCATRAZ 1 Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians

At age 13, Alcatraz Smedry has finally settled into his new foster home when he finds himself on an amazing adventure in a parallel world ruled by evil librarians. Alejandro Ruiz performs the role of Alcatraz using a cheery voice, and Chris Genebach gives Grandpa Smedry a gravelly, humor-filled voice. Ruiz also reads the narrative, describes the motivations of all the characters, and provides long digressions that punctuate the rock ‘em, sock ‘em momentum of this action-punk adventure. It’s a rollicking good time as the Smedrys battle the evil librarians and use their hidden talents to discover important secrets. Additional members of the full cast portray the other characters enthusiastically with a variety of accents, and sound effects add drama.
