Fans of Dune will find this audiobook a new way to enjoy the work. Those who have never read science fiction or who haven’t yet come to the planet Dune have a treat in store. All will find the quality of the narration equal to the level of the storytelling. Brick is like a historian of the planet Dune, expressing a passion for the peoples and cultures he describes. The alien place and people names sound as natural as if he had recited them many times. The glossary presented at the end of the book is perhaps more useful in print but certainly not a reason to miss out on the audio format. J.E.M.
