UNBRIDLED Long, Tall Texans, Book 53

A chance encounter at a party leads to the beginning of a romance between Texas Ranger John Ruiz and nurse Sunny Wesley. Narrator Todd McLaren brings the listener along as John and Sunny fall in love and complications arise. Unbeknownst to John, Sunny has befriended his 11-year-old son. McLaren gives John a subtle Spanish accent that goes with his heritage and ably gives his son a youthful voice. Sunny is provided with a wispy quality that the listener may have adjust to but is fitting for her personality. John is dealing with a cold case involving murder and gangs.
