AFTER ANNA

Part family drama, part thriller, Lisa Scottoline's latest does not disappoint! Maggie Ippolitti, who is portrayed by narrator by Mozhan Marnò, rebuilt her life after her first husband divorced her and took her infant daughter. She's now married to widowed, single dad Dr. Noah Alderman, portrayed by Jeremy Bobb. Maggie is thrilled when her daughter, Anna, now 17, initiates contact with her, and they reconnect. However, their idyllic life is shattered when Anna accuses Noah of molesting her and then is murdered. The story unfolds as the plot shifts back and forth between the lead-up to the trial and life after the verdict. Marnò and Bobb capture the suspense as something completely unexpected happens and Maggie fights to discover the truth about her daughter, her husband, and her life.
