THE LIES WE TOLD

Narrators Sally Scott and Patience Tomlinson collaborate to deliver Camilla Way's second psychological thriller centered around the consequences of lying and its disturbing connections. Clara and Luke are in a perfectly happy relationship until Luke goes missing. After police seem to be at a standstill, Clara starts doing some investigating of her own and discovers secrets were being kept. Meanwhile, in the past, Beth was dealing with the bizarre behavior of her daughter, Hannah. Both narrators add atmosphere and intensity, applying emphasis at the intermingling of each character. They unveil key moments seamlessly. Clara's breathy tone increases the emotion and magnitude of every exposed lie and twist, while each shocking revelation heightens the listener's curiosity.
