Narrator Christina Delaine takes on the insanity of marriage and murder with a thriller reminiscent of a Gillian Flynn novel. Matt claims his wife fell to her death on a romantic hike, but with another dead wife in his past, the police are not convinced he is blameless. The missing wife, Marie, is known for dominating her PTA and always getting her way. Assigned to the case, Detective Spengler has her suspicions about the crime but also has suspicions about her partner, Detective Loren.
