AFTER DARK Griffin Powell, Book 1

Narrator Eileen Stevens smoothly keeps pace with this romantic suspense. She gives Johnny Mack Cahill a deep Southern drawl and lets it rumble out slowly. Lane Noble Graham's voice is a husky purr. The two meet once again over a murder, which the local grand dame wants to pin on Lane. The situation involves old hurts, a divided town, and more murders. When young Will enters the story, Stevens portrays him with the abruptly shifting pitch that teen boys must navigate. And there are plenty of other distinct characters, as well.
