Fans of this popular series will be happy that narrator Derek Perkins was tapped to perform the latest installment. The mystery begins as five strangers arrive at a small-town law office and learn they are to split a sizable inheritance from a distant relative--as soon as the sixth beneficiary can be located. After one of the group dies under questionable circumstances, Detective Sloan and his not-too-bright sidekick, Crosby, are on the double case, looking for both the killer and the missing person. Perkins nails the personalities of the characters, who range from an efficient ER nurse to an aggressive wannabe rugby player.
