A SWORD NAMED TRUTH Rise of the Alliance, Book 1

Joel Froomkin has a host of accents and voices on display in this first installment of the Rise of the Alliance trilogy. From the first chapter, Froomkin seems to have fun with his narration as he adopts a tongue-in-cheek attitude. The setting is the author's Inda world, in which many young rulers have ascended to the throne (most 10-15 years old) and attempted to form alliances to resist a historical enemy. They prove to be great resources for one another, especially as they discover magical powers that have been lost.
