This is a listen for anyone who loves a good story performed by a really good narrator. It takes place on the plains of North Dakota and Montana in the early 1950s and involves a feud between families--and so much more. Narrator Dan John Miller does a great job voicing the main characters, a laconic former sheriff who is following his strong-willed wife on a journey that very well may turn troublesome. Miller expertly moves the story along without overdoing accents, emotions, or climactic events. He sets the right tone throughout and keeps the listener engaged.
