Narrating from dual viewpoints, Rebecca Mozo and Wayne Mitchell perform this enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance. After Max causes his older brother to jilt his fiancée, Lina, at the altar, it's no surprise that she detests Max. Four years later, the two are paired up in a competition that, if they succeed, will significantly change both of their lives. As is sometimes the case with multiple narrators, the skills of Mozo and Mitchell vary greatly. The accents and vocal personalities of the characters are significantly different from one narrator to the other, making one question the collaboration. Mozo's performance is stronger than Mitchell's character interpretations. These differences keep the listener from becoming lost in the story. Skip the audiobook and go straight to the print.
