As Ericksen provides distinct voices for each character--from Roarke's faint Irish lilt to Dallas's no-nonsense tones--listeners have no problem following along. Ericksen captures the anguish of the victim's family and Dallas's determination to bring the killer to justice. Ericksen will have listeners smiling at the banter between Dallas and her partner, Peabody. Those who are new to the series will find this to be an entertaining mystery.
