In Book 2 of the Feverwake series, Noam becomes a double agent in his fight against a new political powerhouse, while his partner, Dara, struggles to keep Noam from becoming morally compromised. Crouch's narration complements the story's suspenseful twists while encouraging listeners to empathize with the heroes, survivors of abuse who are still suffering from mental traumas. Crouch's performance captures the complexity in Noam's and Dara's ethical convictions and their continual need for mutual support.
