This classic novel is performed by a full cast, including Seamus Dever as Captain Robert Walton, Adhir Kalyan as Dr. Victor Frankenstein, and the audibly recognizable Stacy Keach as The Creature. The riveting adaptation of the story within a story, as told by Mary Shelly, is startlingly different from the familiar movie versions. Stacy Keach's deep voice is perfect for the monster, who is both self-educated and sophisticated, yet still a creation of Dr. Frankenstein. Dever's placid tones recall Captain Walton's rescue of the doctor in the arctic wastelands, while smooth-voiced Kalyan becomes Frankenstein himself, mad scientist and giver of life.
