Long ago cast out of her aristocratic family for being a vocal suffragette, Lucie continues to fight for the equality of women. When Lord Ballentine, an aggravating childhood friend of her brother, shows up, sparks fly as they fight to control their desires. Jasicki maintains unique voices for the cast of characters, a skill that comes in handy during scenes when several of Lucie's close friends take part in a conversation. However, the unhurried pace of her performance does little to enhance the listening experience, instead drawing out a long story and encouraging one's mind to wander.
