FATHER MINE

Narrator Jim Frangione gives the listener a glimpse of vampire Zsadist's life with his wife, Bella, and his newborn daughter, Nalla. Zsadist has a horrible past that hampers his ability to express his love for his child, and the listener aches for him as Frangione uses his voice and subtle pauses to bring out his agony. Bella loves Zsadist but is frustrated by his emotional distance, and Frangione uses quick pacing to express it. When a near-death experience has Zsadist coming to grips with his past, Frangione keeps listeners on edge of their seats.
