When they are brought together by the upcoming execution of a convicted murderer, they discover that there may be someone out there who wants to see Helen suffer even more. Naudus smoothly switches between accents and delivery styles to give the listener a full cast of characters. She is capable of the cold, calculating voice of a killer and the struggling breaths of a woman who is dying of lung cancer. Naudus's range and pacing make for a compelling audiobook experience.
