THE PARTY CRASHER

Fiona Hardingham exercises great range in her heartfelt and hilarious narration. At 26, Effie is taking her parents' divorce hard; she's estranged from her father and fighting with Krista, his girlfriend. Krista invites Effie to a house "cooling" party at the same time that Effie realizes she's left something important in her childhood home. She sets out on a mission to retrieve it unseen. Using old hiding spots to evade party guests, Effie gets a new perspective on friends and family. Can rifts be mended? Hardingham's delivery of the caring tones between sisters are contrasted with the digs between Effie and Krista.
