Soneela Nankani and Vikas Adam narrate a rom-com loosely inspired by Shakespeare's TAMING OF THE SHREW. After a run-in that, unfortunately, goes viral, Kareena Mann and Prem Verma agree to fake a relationship so that their reputations can recover. Nankani captures the awkward combination of confidence, frustration, and doubt that Kareena experiences when it comes to her family but also shows the deep love they all have for one another. Adam does a fantastic job depicting the inherently decent person Prem is while also portraying his utter cluelessness when it comes to emotions and how to express them. Kareena's brigade of aunties and Prem's sharp-as-a-knife mother steal every scene they are in, due in no small part to Nankani and Adam.
