Hampton's portrayal of London is confident and assured, that of a professional woman who knows she is a rock star in her field. Similarly, Hampton's portrayal of Drew is that of another professional at his peak who knows his worth. What makes both London and Drew relatable and gives Hampton's performance its heart is their personal struggles--London's complicated relationship with her terrible father and Drew's grief over the recent death of his mother.
