Listeners (and readers) who enjoyed Jeffers's FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY will appreciate this practical guide for moving a step forward. Jeffers presents a brief synopsis of her earlier work and then moves into exercises to assist the listener in facing his or her specific fears. There can be no doubt about Jeffers's earnest conviction and sincerity. As with many authors who are not trained performers, Jeffers's voice becomes a bit tired and strained from time to time. Nonetheless, her voice remains relatively easy to listen to and understand. The tape includes sufficient pauses so that the listener is not constantly turning the tape off during its short exercises.
