Narrator Ann Sprinkle's delivery is positive and friendly--perhaps a bit too much so for this informed primer on what some would call a classic oxymoron: business ethics. The content is well organized; each chapter explores a single area of ethics--such as compliance, duty of care, and due diligence--which is then followed by a discussion of each topic's pros and cons. Sprinkle's narration is workmanlike, a bit robotic, but ultimately pleasant, natural, and enjoyably informative. Corporate law scholar Lynn A. Stout, sadly, passed away while researching this audiobook. Her effort and Nelson's will assist students and those with a casual interest in understanding and assimilating the evolution of corporate ethics in a post-pandemic environment.
