Narrators Samantha Cook and Jason Clarke depict the romance that blossoms between Jade Dare and Knox Sinclair. Jade is leery of relationships after two failed engagements, but circumstances thrust her into Knox's path as she is planning his sister's wedding. Cook's performance is dynamic as Jade and as she moves between the male and female secondary characters. Portraying Knox, Clarke has a husky quality to his voice that draws the listener in, especially as passion deepens between Knox and Jade. Clarke's narration also doesn't lose any of Jade's femininity when the story is told from his point of view. The two narrators pair well together to bring listeners an entertaining story of two people who have been burned in the past but learn to overcome it.
