At London's posh Manor Park School's 21st class reunion, a conservative MP is found dead, and newly appointed DI Kaur investigates. DS Cassie Fitzherbert, a former Manor Park student, is at the reunion, but she has secrets of those days she'd rather keep buried. Wadia, as Kaur, provides both gravitas and humor as she deals with her first homicide. Flashbacks are delivered credibly by Gubbins and Collingwood in alternating sections of dialogue as Cassie remembers the past. All three narrators deliver authentic performances of the mixed bag of suspects. They create credible situations, build tension, and provide a conclusion guaranteed to stun.
