THE STORY OF SON A Story of Dark Vampire Romance

Listeners looking for a quick yet satisfying story will find that narrator Jim Frangione provides just the thing. Lawyer Claire Stroughton is thrust into a world in which vampires exist. When she goes to see an elderly client, she is drugged and locked in a basement with a vampire named Michael. Frangione aptly conveys all of Claire's terror. After she learns about Michael and his past, however, she comes to care for him. Frangione transitions from her panic to her steely determination to rescue him. Frangione's performance adds a deeply passionate element to the narration as Claire and Michael fall in love. Once again, Frangione gives a fine glimpse of J.R. Ward's paranormal world.
