A WITCH'S GUIDE TO FAKE DATING A DEMON

Helen Laser's narration is fun and upbeat, yet slightly dark. She injects a hint of attraction between the whimsical witch Mariel and the powerful demon Ozroth, who has fallen from grace. He needs to regain his reputation, and his plan to do so is to steal Mariel's soul. But blithe Mariel proves to be a slippery target. Laser portrays each character distinctively. The listener gets a sense of Ozroth's buff body from his sexy voice, while Mariel sounds quirky and cute. Her love of plants contrasts with her witch persona. Laser nails their characters in addition to capturing the bossy personality of Mariel's mother. Laser keeps the story light and engaging with just enough drama.
