Natalie Naudus throws herself wholeheartedly into Gigi Rutherford's fantasy that the narrator of her favorite audiobook is her soulmate. Naudus plays up Gigi's longing, both for narrator Zane and for his connection to her late parents. After Gigi's friends at her romance bookstore chip in to send her on a ten-day tour of England, she is thrust into the drama of a bus tour that is supposed to have Zane as its tour guide. Instead, Gigi meets a lively cast of characters for whom Naudus delivers accents from Great Britain and the American South. Each has their own story to tell. Naudus slowly moves Gigi from tour outsider to full participant as she figures out her real-life romance. Listeners will love this English road-trip adventure.
