THE BRIGHT SIDE RUNNING CLUB

Narrator Danielle Cohen captures the determination and grace of a woman who is battling breast cancer. To cope with her diagnosis, Keira wants to continue her busy schedule of work and family responsibilities. She slowly accepts reality when she joins a running club with three other cancer patients. The foursome both uplift and mourn with each other. Many emotions in the grieving process take place in Cohen's performance. She expertly depicts the struggles Keira faces despite having the steadfast support of her family and friends. Listeners will find solace in Keira's runs as she and the other patients come to cherish what they have and brave the unfairness of life.
