HOW CAN I HELP YOU

In alternating chapters, two adept narrators portray adversaries in a deadly match of cat and mouse. Which one is cat and which mouse may be hard to decide. Patrice, portrayed by Carlotta Brentan, is a young failed novelist who takes a job as a small-town reference librarian. Margo, portrayed with calm menace by Maggi-Meg Reed, is a killer nurse caught in the act who hides out behind the circulation desk at the same library. Neither can suppress her compulsion, one to kill again, the other to study a killer close up. As each character remains unaware of how closely she's being watched, the narrators' distinctive voices build the suspense in steady increments.
