Comedian Sarah Cooper offers up a mostly entertaining collection of personal essays in this lighthearted audiobook. Narrating her own work, she perfectly delivers the tone of her self-deprecating stories. In addition to viral TikTok videos of her lip-syncing to Trump's speeches, Cooper chronicles her experiences as the youngest child of Jamaican immigrant parents, her disappointment with chorus and drama experiences, her previous career in the tech industry, her struggles through two divorces, and more. Some musings are less successful than others, including an extended digression on colors. Moreover, Cooper's overthinking interior monologue can be repetitive at times. Nonetheless, her candid storytelling demonstrates her distinct voice as she invites listeners to laugh out loud at the absurdity of her observations.
