Angelina Rocca and John Lane combine their talents to enliven the romance between Georgia Brooks, a nonprofit worker, and Drew Daniels, a lawyer. Sparks fly between the two when they meet at a dinner honoring Georgia's father. Later, Georgia's sister wins Drew at a charity bachelor auction and offers him to Georgia for her birthday. Lane brings a deeply masculine quality to his performance that doesn't take away from his ability to deliver the female voices. Rocca brings an equally feminine quality to her narration. The two smoothly switch back and forth. A lawyer who works for Georgia's father is pursuing her, and both Lane and Rocca capture his sleaziness.
