Narrator Ken Jackson knows how to craft a story and lure listeners into the web of intrigue. Kimberly Gilbert dominates as the resourceful Ursula, matched by Holly Adams as the equally determined Iris. Both characters have different reasons for participating in the dangerous quest. Listeners must suspend disbelief and accept a world of monsters, black magic, and silent-film-era glamour.
