Scarlett Everdeen and J.T. Londale bring to life the adventures of Meara Delcourt and Edge, who are both vampires. Meara, Edge, and their friends are in a battle with a group of evil wizards who want to destroy them. Meara is a 300-year-old aristocrat with a haughty tone matching her personality. Edge has a chip in his head; both Londale and Everdeen successfully convey his lack of emotion. Despite the implant, passion sparks between Meara and Edge. Everdeen and Londale successfully alternate their narrations, providing smooth transitions for each shift. The listener can easily differentiate all the characters.
