THESE THINGS HAPPEN

Narrator Quinton Morton insightfully portrays Daniel Zimmer, who grew up with an overbearing father in 1970s New York City. He found alcohol as a teen and has been struggling with it ever since. Morton's engaging characterizations will bring tears to listeners' eyes as they hear about Daniel's disintegration through addiction. It's a devastating story with much tragedy, especially the parts involving Daniel's sick wife and alcoholic brothers. Morton's tone lightens, and his rhythm changes when Daniel finds Alcoholics Anonymous and accepts their help. He still must face his very real problems, but hope fuels his drive to succeed.
